Polyjuice Potion!

I wonder how it would be like if I had the Polyjuice Potion that was good for an hour would be like? If you don't know what the Polyjuice Potion is, it is a potion in Harry Potter, this potion allows you to transform temporarily into the physical form of someone else. Well, if I had the potion I would temporarily transform into a person who works at Syco Records. If you are wondering what Syco Records is, it is a British record label, so that means a lot of singers record their music there. Some of the singers and bands that record their songs there, are One Direction, Olly Murs, and Little Mix. If I was someone that worked there for an hour I would make sure those people are there to record their music. I would really want to record their music because I would be one of the first people to hear their songs, and I would be able to meet them in real life. Another reason why I would want to work there and record One Direction, Olly Murs, and Little Mix's music is because I have always wanted to work with these singers and I have always wanted to know how it would be like to work at a recording studio. Those are some of the reason why if I had the Polyjuice Potion I would transform into a person who worked at Syco Records.

Saving Louise Reflection

We just finished writing our fantasy stories, my story was about 2 girls who were best friends (Hillary and Louise). And one day they decided to go to the library, when they were there they saw a time machine. So they went inside, it brought them to a whole different year, but on the way there, something bad stops them. One thing I think I did good on was that I wrote a lot, and I added a lot of detail in my story. I also did a good job describing the characters. One thing I think I improved on this writing piece from my other writing pieces is the title. Usually my titles would be a little boring, so this time I tried to make the title not that boring. One thing I should improve on is making sure I don't have any careless mistakes in my writing before I publish it, because after seeing my story again I can see some of the mistakes. Another thing I should work on is using better word choice. And maybe next time I put pictures in my book I think I would want to do a better job in taking the pictures of the illustrations.  I wouldn't call this my best writing piece, but it isn't the worst, so I think this piece is okay.

Book Club Reflection!

Recently, we just finished our book clubs for the unit of Fantasy. I really enjoyed book club this unit, it was fun to read different Fantasy books and getting talk to the people in my group about the book. One thing I think my book club should work on is staying on topic the whole meeting. Another thing that I think my book club should improve on was not getting distracted that easily, for example sometimes some of the people in my group were talking and not listening to what someone was trying to say. One thing that worked well with my book club is that we waited for one person to finish talking, until another person could talk, another thing my book club did well on was that we bounced off each other's ideas. During every meeting my group decided that each person had to share at least one idea, so that made everything fair. I like book clubs because you can share your opinions and you get to talk about what you have just read in a group, unlike reading a book by yourself. I have always come prepared to book clubs, so that was one thing I did good on in book clubs. One thing I should improve on with book clubs is to come to book club meetings earlier, because sometimes I would be the last one to be at the meeting. I can't wait for the next book club.

My Perfect Family

I wonder how it would be like if I had the perfect family made for me by scientist with expertise in genetics would be like? Well, my family would have 7 people. My dad would be good at sports and at cooking, because it would be awesome to have a dad that is able to cook delicious, mouth watering food. My dad's personality would be the same personality as my dad right now. And my mom would be good at and would love art, baking, dancing, and singing. I would want her to love and be good at singing so then we could sing along to our favorite songs together, I would want her to love and be good at art because then she would be able to show me how to draw just like her. Her personality would be just like my mom's personality right now too. For my siblings I would have 2 brothers and 1 sister. Since I have 2 brothers in real life I would keep them in my family, but I would make them younger then me, they would be 9 years old. They would be athletic and funny. My sister would be the same age as me (which is 10), her hobbies would include drawing, singing, dancing, and gymnastics. I have always wanted a sister, her personality would be funny, smart, musical, and quiet. My family would also include a dog, because I have always wanted a dog. My dog's name would be named Eleanor and her personality would be playful. That would be my perfect family, what would your family be like?

Saving Louise

Wow the making of this I Book was so much fun. The process of making this I Book was first we had to write and finish our Fantasy story, then we had to create the pictures used in the book using Pixton, lastly we had to place the text and picture in the I Book to make the book. We only had one day to make this I Book, but it was still pretty fun.  

Currently

It's the end of March and guess what that means... it's time for the March Currently! The only thing that is different on this Currently from other Currently's is the last category. For this month the last category was 3 Words. 

A Item in the Kitchen!

Hmm.. I wonder what it would be like if I was an item in the kitchen??? Well, if I had to be one of the items in the kitchen, I would be a pair of kitchen scissors. One of the reasons why I would pick to be a pair of kitchen scissors is because I would be very helpful, people would always use me to cut something. Another reason why I would be a pair of kitchen scissors is because people would use me everyday to cut things and I can be very sharp, they would have to use me to cut ingredients if needed while they are cooking, and if they need to cut something hard but they don't have a knife close by I would be able to help. The last reason why I would be a pair of kitchen scissors is because some pairs of kitchen scissors can last a long time, so that means you would be able to use me for a long time. Those are some of the reasons why I would want to be a pair of kitchen scissors.
